New research from Ofsted has examined the impact that the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has had on provision and developmental outcomes for young children. The report forms part of Ofsted's evidence to the ongoing review of the EYFS by Dame Clare Tickell, and found that the number of nurseries and childminders judged good or outstanding has risen significantly since the introduction of the EYFS.
